The Fall (a very long break from blogging!)

Our camera broke in August (which ended up being one of many things that broke) and we borrowed one from Aaron's parents. Then we lost their camera cord and waited for it to turn up but it never did. So we finally ordered a replacement...and now I can post pics again. I can't believe it's almost December and we have 6.5 weeks to go until our due date!!

Aaron's last day of work was this past Wednesday and that has been a hard pill to swallow...on our good days, we are feeling optimistic for what God has in store and on our bad days we let fear get the better of us. That said, he's beginning his first week of unemployment by working on a freelance Web project for a friend, starting one or two (of many!) home projects, and looking for jobs. For me, work is picking up a lot right now which is somewhat intimidating since I am increasingly tired. Just have to keep in mind that it won't be much longer until we are gaining a family member! Now that is something to look forward to. :-)

Some highlights from the past few months:

-We've had a few short day trips (or one-night stay trips) to the mountains--including going to Estes Park for our three-year anniversary. Good for the soul!
-We also just got solar on our house! Which will end up being free (actually paying us some) once we get our tax refund. Aaron and some really generous friends of his from Bella installed the system over a few different weekends. It should end up covering about 50% of our electric costs.
-We're taking a Bradley childbirth class which we are really enjoying. It's helped Aaron feel much more a part of pregnancy and we're feeling much more prepared for the actual birth. We also had the pleasant surprise of having a couple we're friends with being in the same class, so that's made it all the more fun.

20.5 weeks

27.5 weeks

Halloween. Aaron's dad made this oven for me...the door even opens in case anyone has the urge to touch the bun. ;-)

32.5 weeks. Haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for a while and it's hard to imagine getting any bigger at this point!
