Michigan Hike/Bike Adventure 2007

In August we went back to Michigan for a vacation/mini-family reunion. It was great! Fourteen of us (mostly Schwartzs, plus my mom's sister and my cousin Alix) traveled to South Manitou Island for two days of camping and hiking. We enjoyed the campfire, starry nights, and swimming! Afterwards, we were lucky enough to stay at Ivy's mom's house in Glen Arbor--a welcome change after living in the woods. We had amazing weather all week and I was once again reminded of how much I love Lake Michigan.


This is Carley and Dave Jankowski--sister and father to one of my best friends, Kristen. They now live in Traverse City and we were able to get together with them and see their beautiful home. Dave made us a delicous breakfast and we got to enjoy the awesome view from their backyard. We missed you, Mary!
